People dump 2.12 billion tons of waste every single year. That’s enough to create a line of garbage trucks that would go around the world 24 times. Most people know how to reduce waste and recycle correctly, they just don’t do it. Binit provides insights that make managing your waste easier, smarter, and less costly.

Binit is the world’s first AI-powered trash scanner, designed to tackle household waste reduction head-on. In a market saturated with sustainability-focused, AI-driven brands sporting generic identities, Binit wanted to stand out and create a meaningful, lasting impact for today and tomorrow through design.
The category is brimming with green and blue cleantech brands featuring happy people hugging windmills. To break away from these clichés, we needed to challenge the norm and spark a movement— the result was a community-driven mission to reduce waste for good.

Binit’s design approach takes inspiration from the vibrant world of household waste and the spirit of grassroots activism. Our goal was to break free from the typical cleantech stereotypes, delivering a brand that’s bold, memorable, and purposeful.
